In the years since the iPhone 4S’ launch, the iPhone has been a lightning rod for many controversies, from the way the device’s battery life was reduced to its lack of a headphone jack to the way Apple’s use of plastic was perceived.
But the iPhone’s back is the subject of a number of new leaks.
The first is a ceramic tile-inspired design that has been dubbed “anatolias ceramic tile,” which has a more “articulate” feel and is more similar to an acrylic tile than the flat ceramic tiles found on the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
It appears to be a ceramic-colored version of the iPhone 7’s back.
A second leaked photo appears to show a matte-black aluminum iPhone 7 that looks similar to the ceramic tiles.
The third leak is a photo of an iPhone 7 Plus with a matte black aluminum back.
The fourth leak, which was also published on the App Store, shows the iPhone 8, which looks like an aluminum-colored iPhone 7.
This one has a matte aluminum back and a matte ceramic tile on the front.
It’s unclear whether the new leaks are related to the previous leaks or just a leak that was accidentally uploaded.
